چکیده

Urinary incontinence is a common problem in older women, with an estimated 15 to 55 percent of women over the age of 60 having incontinence at least once a week [1]. Among older women, incontinence is associated with social isolation, stigmatization, depression, decreased physical activity, falls and fractures, and nursing home admissions [2]. Cognitive impairment is also widely prevalent in the elderly, occurring in at least 10 percent of persons over the age of 65, and in 50 percent of those over the age of 85, with women having a slightly higher risk compared to men.[3]
